For Everyone

Please try to make your presentation, whether poster or podium, or virtual or in-person, as accessible as possible. If possible, use an accessible font (e.g., Calibri, Helvetica, Arial) and font size. Please avoid bright colors (e.g., neon) with high contrast. Additional information can be foundhere.
Please see below for more specific details for each presentation format:

In-Person Podium

Talks should be 12 minutes long with 3 minutes for questions (total 15 minutes per presentation). Please make sure to prepare the presentation accordingly. We will be limiting speakers to 15 minutes. Please save your presentation in .pdf or .pptx format. Podium presentations should be submitted to the registration desk or the podium at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your session. Note that you can submit your presentation to the registration desk (KOG building) as early as 21 August (13:00) or any other time when the registration desk is open.

Virtual Podium

Talks should be 12 minutes long with 3 minutes for questions (total 15 minutes per presentation). Please make sure to prepare the presentation accordingly. We will be limiting speakers to 15 minutes. We intend to have virtual podium presenters share their screen via zoom. However, if you would like to send us a copy of the presentation (.pdf or .pptx) in advance, in case there are any technical issues, please do so by 20 August (europpa2024@gmail.com) . Presenter zoom links will be sent in advance.

In-Person Poster

Our poster boards are 122cm (height) x 96cm (width). You can present any size poster you wish, as long as it fits on the poster board. As an example, this would fit an A0 (portrait) or an A1 (landscape). You can hang your poster as early as 21 August (13:00 KOG building). Posters must be removed by 24 August 13:00 at the latest. We ask that poster authors stand by their poster during one coffee/tea break (to be announced in August). Please note that all materials to hang posters will be provided.

Virtual Poster

We will be using GatherTown to present virtual posters. Please email your poster in a .png or .jpg format (NOT .PDF!!!!!) to europpa2024@gmail.com by 20 August. Use a 16:9 aspect ratio: minimum width is 1000px (24.46cm), minimum height is 600px (15.88cm). Landscape orientation is preferable. Maximum file size is 3MB. Please do not use a transparent background. We ask that the poster authors are virtually present by their posters during one coffee/tea break (to be announced in August).
